Trail Dog and Driver

You found a duck

Somebody saw your rig and liked it enough to leave something on it. That is the entire point. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.

What to do with it

  1. Keep it on the dash

That is where most of them end up. It rides along and it reminds you somebody out there thought your rig was worth walking over to.

  2. Then pass it on

Next time you are at a trailhead and something parked near you makes you look twice, leave it on the mirror or the door handle. The duck is supposed to keep moving.

  3. Tag us if you want

Post a photo of where it landed and tag @traildoganddriver. We like seeing how far they get. No obligation at all.

Who left it

Doug, Marti, and a hundred and fifty pound Newfoundland named Fenrir. We run the back roads and the old forest trails in Pennsylvania, mostly the ones that are slowly being lost to time, and we write down the ones worth driving.

Fen is a certified therapy dog. He has met hundreds of people and left every one of them better than he found them. Out here he gets to stop working and just be a dog in a creek.
